Regina Reyes Gallur is an expert in corporate governance and regulatory compliance with over 30 years of professional experience and nearly two decades in the energy sector. She has developed her career in complex, highly regulated multinational corporate environments, with a particular focus on the design, implementation and oversight of compliance systems, enterprise risk management, and the strengthening of corporate governance frameworks through a strategic and integrative approach.

She holds a law degree from the University of Málaga and completed her executive training at the IESE Executive Program (University of Navarra).

She began her professional career as a lawyer in 1993, working in Spain and abroad in both the public and private sectors. Her career has a strong international dimension, having lived in Algeria, Greece, Cyprus and the United Arab Emirates, which has given her a comparative perspective on different regulatory and cultural environments.

Since 2006, she has held various management positions within the Iberdrola Group. In 2007, she was appointed Deputy Secretary and Legal Advisor to the Board of Directors of Iberdrola Renovables, S.A., as well as Secretary to the Related Party Transactions Committee. She subsequently served as Director of Legal Compliance, Risk & Audit, Chairman’s Office and ESG at Iberdrola, S.A., a position she held until 2025.

She has been Deputy Secretary of the Board of Directors of Iberdrola Energía Sostenible España, S.A.U., Deputy Secretary of Iberdrola Inmobiliaria, S.A.U., and Secretary of its Audit and Compliance Committee.

She has also been a member of the Boards of Directors of numerous companies in the energy sector in Spain, Australia, Germany and Brazil, actively participating in governing bodies and contributing to the supervision of governance, control and corporate responsibility frameworks. She also led the strategy for the launch and development of the Pro Bono programme of the General Secretariat and Board of Iberdrola, S.A.

Between 2015 and 2019, she served as International Advisor to the Organising Committee of the Special Olympics World Games in the United Arab Emirates.

She has combined her professional activity with teaching in various courses and master’s programmes and regularly participates as a speaker at specialised forums on governance and compliance.

In March 2026, she joined Ayala de la Torre Abogados as a partner in the firm.
